From having just 5k followers to owning around 50k followers, I worked out the best for the firm and never comprised in the quality of content produced.

The result of the party to win the election is yet to take place in the year 2021.

The Challenge

Being a writer, I love exploring a lot of industries and one such industry is politics. In I-PAC (Indian Political Action Committee), we do digital and offline campaigns wherein I belonged to the Digital sector. I-PAC works out strategies and campaigns plans for DMK which is one of the most influential parties in India. It almost resembles the 'media' industry, in which, the work should be instantly submitted and should get ready to received work at any instance. Sometimes, working on Sundays was quite difficult but once I learnt the strategy, it became one of my favourite roles. I was given the role of managing the campaign - Vidiyalai Nokki Stalinin Kural (The voice of Stalin) and the campaign took place for 75 days. Stalin, the president of DMK, is the one who represents the DMK party and leads it. The leaders of DMK were campaigning for their party, and I made sure to cover them all digitally.

The Process

In I-PAC, I was hired as an Analyst. Tamil Nadu State has around 38 districts, hence DMK had 38 pages on Facebook, one for each district. I handled all the 38 DMK district pages on Facebook, the main DMK page and also the campaign VNSK's Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels. I was in charge of posting content on all these pages regularly and make sure to keep engaging the followers in the most effective way. Planning out various strategies for the campaign to bring in more followers was one of my most favourite hobbies.

The Solution

From having just 5k followers to owning around 50k followers, I worked out the best for the firm and never comprised in the quality of content produced.

The result of the party to win the election is yet to take place in the year 2021.

BlackLeaves

BlackLeaves was an up and coming fit tea brand in Australia, with some traction from influencers and a couple viral campaigns in the past. Their main problem was, they were not able to scale past $500 a month in adspend. Meaning they did not have a proven way of scaling their business. With stock laying around they needed help quick, because if the stock doesn't move it's expired.

Imperial Tea

Imperial Tea is a premium tea company started almost 30 years ago, and family run. As a family run business, Imperial Tea has acquired a very loyal community of fans and customers. True tea connoisseurs shop at Imperial Tea, in part for the premium quality they offer, but also to continue connecting with the founders that lead tea tasting sessions and education. The entire Imperial Tea experience is unique. While the majority of their sales have been generated by their tea house in San Francisco, they have been trying to expand their online stores sales.

When Imperial Tea reached out to us, they were looking for a team of marketers that truly understand the boutique nature of their business. Unlike mainstream tea companies, Imperial Tea’s social media content had to lead with education in order to continue offering the same quality of service to their existing audience, while growing their community of premium tea lovers.

GoSwitch

This customer was running lead generation campaigns that fed the leads into their custom-built CRM, to be contacted by call centre staff. The call centre reps would then convert the leads into sales over the phone, sometimes over several calls. That data would go into the CRM also, but not connected to the original lead. Leads came in via website forms as well as phone calls, so tracking inbound phone call leads was essential as well. They had a call tracking system built by a previous agency that they needed to migrate away from.

The challenge was to be able to feed sales data back into Google Ads so that the campaigns could be optimized to the actual revenue, as opposed to just the CPL. The call tracking also needed to be migrated to another platform.
