This ecommerce swimwear company was looking to build their presence and drive online sales across North America. With some brand recognition generated through their work with Influencers they were looking to move beyond branded search campaigns to establish a predictable, consistent funnel strategy that could be used to support new product releases and their push into Activewear.
Using video, static and carousel content we targeted lookalike audiences on Tiktok, Facebook and Instagram to drive inbound mid-funnel traffic by showcasing the brand, products and versatility.
We then retargeted these engaged users on the same social channels with follow on messaging which outlined the value and unique selling propositions that differentiated their brand from their competitors. In addition we implemented Google Performance Max campaigns to engage the most serious “in-market” shoppers with Display and Product content from their catalog.
Seasonal sales were used to re-engage website visitors with Free Shipping and Discount offers to grow the customer base and drive revenue.

The brand was struggling to improve the ROAS of their online store above 300%, after getting a taste of 800 - 900% during the pandemic, when people being stuck at home all day every day was beneficial to a brand like theirs. The brand was already familiar to consumers who were used to seeing it at stores like Harvey Norman and Kmart, but now could no longer shop at those stores. Another challenge was not being able to offer discounts on their products deeper than the stockist retailer were offering.
The target ROAS was 500 - 600%. The channels they were using were Facebook/Instagram Ads and Google Ads. Facebook was an area of concern as they did not see consistent returns there, although the channel very well during lockdowns.
Client was struggling with a business that had steadily decreasing revenue over the course of 3 years. This was sped up by the fact they went through an acquisition that wasn't integrating with their parent company quickly.
The client has over 5,000 SKU's, and a percentage of sales comes over the phone, losing performance insights.
One of the areas our client was struggling with was that they wanted to continually increase the ROAS targets; which was driving down spend and overall revenue. This was even more challenging, given some of the tracking challenges.
The client also didn't have a cohesive affiliate or promotions strategy.
